This plan is designed for the athlete with a decent cardiovascular and work capacity base. If you are not there yet, start with our Beginner Everyday Fitness Plan.
This program is designed to be used 18 weeks out from your Ranger School or Pre-Ranger start date, but can be easily modified by adding more base building weeks (beginning of the program), or taking out the first four weeks if you’re on a time crunch. You should be running roughly 20-30 miles per week going into this program.
This plan is targeted at making you faster and more efficient for the RAP Week events you will see during the first week of Ranger School, as well as helping you build the work capacity needed to complete multiple high intensity events within a short period of time. We are aware of the new fitness test, and have added some additional RPFA focused workouts to build your confidence in taking this test. However, at the end of the day–fitness is fitness, and this program will more than prep you physically for successfully completing school.
